Trail Bike Rides

Karamu Trail Track was created in the mid 80's as an off-road trail bike track and was open once a month to the public until the mid 90’s. For the last eight years the tracks have been used and enjoyed by thousands of people who have come on horse treks with us.

The tracks are remembered and talked about by many veteran riders who rode with David Smith and the “Smith boys”.  In response to demand we have opened up the track again for people who would like to experience our extraordinary and unique purpose-built tracks.

Beginner riders and children are welcome and will enjoy the specially designed novice track and like the advanced riders will be able to enjoy some challenging terrain.  A marshall will patrol the novice track all day but children will need to be supervised by their parent or other adult.

Twilight rides

Twilight rides will be held every second Tuesday from the end of October until daylight savings ends. Dates as follows.

Time - Day Rides

Day Rides

• Sign-in at farm entrance from 9.30am
• Ride starts at 10.00am
• Tracks close at 5pm

Twilight Rides

• Sign in and tracks open from 4.30pm
• Tracks close at 8.30pm

Price

Day rides

• Adults 16+     $30
• Children         $15

Twilight Rides

• Adults 16+      $20
• Children          $10

Since it is hard to tell the age of children, some form of ID will be required, such as their school student ID, otherwise adults price will be charged. For obviously young children (under 10) ID will not be required.

Spectators  free

No EFTPOS - Cash or Cheque only. Prepay by internet banking.

• C Learners (Children and beginners)

Learners Track

This is a shortish track that is close to the carparking area and is reserved for anyone who wants to learn to ride without the fear of being mixed in with the experienced riders. Parents are welcome to accompany their learner children.
