4WD Training area
- We have a large paddock containing a hill with varying gradients and angles adjacent to the road.
- This can be booked by NZTA approved 4WD driving instructors to run 4WD training classes.
- Drivers can learn to drive up and down hills of varying steepness, backing on hills, driving off-camber gradients, uneven and soft surfaces. There is also usually a boggy water area. (US 17978)
- The public road leading in to the paddock is unsealed. (US 17678)
- The instructor must ensure vehicles do not do "wheelies" or other deliberate driving that causes unnecessary damage to the grass.
- Price per vehicle per day $40
